Owens Fabrication steering column mount arrived, going for alloy spherical bearings on this when back in stock with him

Borrowed a seat and getting there with mocking up, gear mount next...

Arc Angels fibreglass front, still need to trim it and fit properly once I get bonnet but at least starting to look like a Mini again after a long time!

This is going to be a real high quality Mini once finished. Those parts look nice! KAD does have some nice stuff

Really slow lately on this. Front hubs have been built up and finally got the interior mirror finished. Had to do it early stages as comes off roll cage. Had some really lovely billet standoffs made to attach it to the brackets.

Finally got something back from the engineering place I’m using that I’ve been looking to...my daughter always calls this car ‘daddy’s racing car’ so about 6 months ago when she was 3 we got her to write it down, then had it scanned and laser engraved onto both the front subframe support bars I’ve made - will rarely see it but I love that it’s there.

Thank you.
Roof will be carbon inner and fibreglass on top as will be body coloured so no point paying lots more for full carbon

Nice touch Matt..i had a similar situation with my last MK1 build on a pristine headliner..only i didn't give my son permission to use it as a drawing board..!
