They used to have steel ones and the plastic ones aren't worth fitting.
I recycle the steel ones as they rarely stuff up, but I have heard of people making them from copper tube, I'd guess from 1".

After many hours trying to remove the bush and bearing, it turns out that mine are metal. Thought these were for 60s cars. Mine is 1972.
They had them in our local production to the end - 1982.

Yes, but your cars not only kept features we replaced with cheaper alternatives such as your GT getting the S engine rather than our watered down alternative but we also copied your improvements like wind up windows.
It's a shame we didn't get the raised-roof Mini-van or the flush door handles (i'd love a set of those).
Mini production ended in '78 so i'm guessing the Moke retained the radius arm metal grease tube. I can send you my address if you want to find a home for a set or two

Yeah, we did go our own way with many things and also stuck in our ways in some, like retaining external door hinges to the end and also odd ball boot lids and door kick panels - all of which are long ago NLA and no hope of any repo stuff due to the low numbers.
There were two Grease Tubes fitter here, the Moke one being different to the Mini one, due to the Moke having Bearings inboard and out
That's the Moke one on top.

Can you post the dimensions of the Mini grease tube, maybe one or more of us can knock-up something similar to do the job.
Had enough of fitting cheap & nasty plastic tubes & then filling the complete arm with grease!

I will poit out that, if the bearings/bushes are really gummed up then you'll push grease past the steel ones too, many people dont realize the presure a simple greasegun can make, ie several thousand PSI.
i always ease the grease in gently rather than pumping away like a tenage boy...

I can do that next time I remember

I would have thought the way technology in manufacturing has advanced it would be a lot easier to produce the grease tubes in something other than plastic.
Someone like Minispares or Rimmers could get the metal ones remade.

Talking of drips, ... if, clear of the tube, you drill and tap a hole just along the top of the rear radius arm, squirt in a little oil and plug it with a set screw, it gently lubricates the the brake cable quadrant.
