I'm really pleased for you Dom! I know exactly how you feel having had lots of problems with my mini, and at times I have also feared I'd have to sell it. But when all is well and im back on the road again, i just think how could i have ever considered selling it!
Just glad a solution has been found and you will be back on the road and lovin the mini'ness once more!

Just seen this thread and it's got everything -- drama, tears and smiles! You've put a lot into this forum Dom, and certainly a mini that's been to the N'ring and back twice is worth a hundred times its nuts and bolts. Great to see tmfers rally round and I agree the forum is like a second family. Respect to everyone

Thanks, its 3 weeks today that the gearbox went and today it is scheduled to be picked up and taken to the place where it will be fixed. Should have it back on the road ready to drive by the end of the week.

Update
The mini has just been picked up and is being driven to the location where it will be worked on. So I should have it back and on the road sometime next week.
All the parts ordered from Mini Spares arrived on time so those have gone with the mini too.
