Im happy to Drive from anywhere from the Southwest to Dom your in the Southeast aint you? Kent way...ive not got a gearbox tho :proud: but il collect it if someone in the Southwest has one. you get what I mean

If it was pouring black smoke out the back would that not suggest a replacement engine was in order, other than just a box :proud:

Nah, I suspect its either gone through the diff, or the layshaft has gone or something, taking the sump with it, oil pouring out onto a hot exhaust causing the black smoke.

dont scrap it dom there werent many cooper carbs made, they only made them for a few months before the went for the injection

if i were you i would go for a second hand engine and box and find a club member that could help you change them over for cup's of tea and bear tokens

then when you finish uni and get a job you can go for a rebuild

i know how your feeling as my diff went on my cooper carb but theres always a bright side as i now have a 5 speed box :proud:

It's a real shame I didn't know about this at the start of the weekend. I am going to London tomorrow and could have taken a box with me, but I deffo aint got time to sort it out now.

yes.... Bear token are useful when buying grizzlies.

Beer tokens might be more use :proud:

Dont worry dom i will fix it for ya, we just need to collect parts, like i said i have metro turbo box and turbo block sitting here, and loads of 1275's on ebay for pennies really!!! as i only live 5 miles away will be able to tow it too, once we get parts we take to my garage or my dads and just get it done in easy day!! plus what time u want me to pick u up sat night for ashford dinner meet???? or text me if u reading!!! oh and jammy has spare mini he can lend you!!! :proud: :w00t:

I know someone who could move it from Faversham to Sittingbourne easily if you have the lifting equipment at yours Dan? The only other thing is getting a box, and hopefully nothing else has been damaged.
