Yes, as Nick has said, the MoKe ones are longer, but can be hard to find, though if you really want one I maybe able to sort you for that.
However, I'll also point out that I don't use the stock Moke ones as because they are longer, the 'throw' at the gearknob is crazy, way to far, 1st & 3rd are just about in the speedo glass and 2nd & 4th are almost on the seats. Dreadful things, but avoids the need to also go to the Gym.
I make mine from the Mini Spares 'short shifter', reshaped and add a bit to it, in fact, it ends up a little longer than a standard Moke one, but has an acceptable throw.

I was actually thinking of welding the mini spares quick shift up with an extra bit from a spare lever I have. Was just concerned about getting enough penetration. I give that a go. Cheers all.Yes, as Nick has said, the MoKe ones are longer, but can be hard to find, though if you really want one I maybe able to sort you for that.

The ones I do, to extend them, I use a piece if 1/2" steel rod, drill & tap it 5/16 UNC in one end and give it a deep chamfer, then turn the other end to 5/16" and cut a 5/16" UNC Thread for the knob, bit of loctite & screw them together. As the short shifter is chrome, to finish them off, I lightly grease the stick, then slide over some thin wall heat shrink & shrink it down. The grease is to stop the heat shrink getting 'craters' as it comes in to contact with the cooler metal underneath.
I've come across a few that have been welded and they seem to break all too easy.

The Austin 1100/1300 range had longer gear sticks and maybe the Metros had too.

Bit the bullet and ordered a KAD one.14cm longer for the moke one!
How did it turn out? and pictures? i was thinking of ordering one and using the extra length to bend the back and then up to move the shifter knob further back.

If you're looking to weld one, you could drill & tap it together with some threaded rod first.

A bit of an aside, but what's the matting? Looks to mould quite well to the floor contours if it's off the roll. Swimming pool, farm supplies...?

It's actually original floor mats that were fitted to Aust. made Mokes from about 1975 on.
It's very similar to this stuff;-

I find them really good in the Moke, all the crud falls through,so you're left with low slip mats, then lift them out and scoop the sand / dirt / mud out with a shovel when you get home
