Thank you for the kind words. The wheels are custom made to my spec's. And yes they fit perfectly. I ordered the wheels first and then made my plan to widen the body on the fitment of the wheels. It ended up 90 mm wider than a standard Moke body.
No I did not use this one for my outback trip. I have a second Moke for that. That is specifically built for rough terrain.

Hi Mav,
Thanks for the extra pics of your awesome custom Moke. The best one I have seen.
It looks like you have even made a wider front grille panel to keep the original overhang of the front guards to look standard. Lot's of work you have done their Mav to keep it looking original but just on steroids. She's a little boulevard cruiser definitely not suited to one of Chris's desert crossings.
I hate pictures of Mokes like yours. This is going to cost me a lot of money now to try and replicate some of your body mods when I find the time and cash

Make me an offer.
I have decided to sell it, as I've driven 5000km in 5 year's.
And it's cheaper to buy the finished product. I have about 1000hours of welding in it. And another 400hours to finish her off.
Thanks for the kind words though.
Stay safe

Hi Mav,
I would love to buy if the purse strings stretched that far but I just invested pretty big in my 1981 Moke my Dad bought brand new by upgrading to a 1293 and a LSD Quaife diff. My Moke goes as good as yours looks but sadly that's about it.
1000 hours of welding, that is insane and way over my budget. I'm starting to like the look of the original body ;-(
Thanks
Brad
