They are Mazda MX5 seats.
Model NB. They are normally too wide for a standard moke. I have made changes to the body to make them fit. If you wish to fit Mazda seats you need NA series. That 1998 to 2003 year model car

Hi Everyone,
Also from down under in South Australia.
I have a 1275 1981 Californian affectionately known as "Mighty Moke" which I have had since 1997 and over that time basically recond, rebuilt or replaced nearly everything. I was very lucky though that the body was in A1 rust-free condition.
I will work out how to attach photos and post soon.
Thanks for having me.
Cheers
pete

Hi Martin, great to see you here mate.
That's actually the first time I've seen your Moke from when you bought it. Some work to do, but for the most part, it didn't look too bad. How were the floors in it ?

Some work to do!!!! Understatement. The floors were rotten, just like most of the rest of the body work. 1F423B62-009A-492C-9B87-BE85B337263B.jpeg 74.08K 2 downloads

Hey Paul !
Great to see you here mate
I have been meaning to say for some time now mate, I do quite like the Colour of your Moke (Squadron Blue is it ?) and the 'clean' way in which it presents. It's almost as nice as White

Oh Martin,,,, it's a snap for a guy like you !

Hey mate.
It's a normal moke. But every panel is modified. The bonnet to make it stronger. The side boxes 45mm wider than standard. The box covers for the looks.
I just wanted to do something different. It took me 4 years to do. But I'm thrilled how it came out. You cant see the difference unless you know what your looking at or have a standard moke standing next to it.
Mav.
Hi Mav,
Can you tell me more about your awesome looking Moke and surely you didn't subject that same Moke to a desert crossing with Chris?
For starters your guards. They don't look like they project out any further but they must to accommodate those 7 inch wheels. Have you actually widened the side box section of the main body? Also where were you when Leyland were designing their bonnets, yours looks fantastic and better engineered in everyway .
I love your wheels to. What are they and do they come with a 101.6 PCD ?
Ok one last question, can please post some more pics of your cool custom Moke?
Thanks
Brad.
