Hi all,

as the title suggests I have a newly painted rim and a brand new tyre that have been together for a couple of years but one tyre wont hold air.

What can I use to re seal the tyre to the rim??

thanks,

Graham

I wouldn't want to use anything on a fresh tyre and rim, I would only maybe use sealer on a damaged or pitted rim if necessary. Are you sure it's leaking from the bead or could it be from the valve?

I would be popping the tyre off the bead, checking it's all clean and re-mounting with plenty of lube to ensure the tyre seats on the bead fully, and stick a new valve in whilst you're there.
