Dare we ask how much it has cost so far for such an awesome looking mini..

Or should we ask your wife what she believes it cost you......

I know for certain there is a huge difference for my mini fleet...

Thanks..to be honest I've not added up the costs ...most of the restoration work has been done by myself ...the paint work I shipped out to a professional..all the running gear  is restored original or renewed with good quality parts..or remade out of stainless were possible..custom bits again made at home or through a great few talented friends ...I spoke to a guy at a show a few years ago with an ok restored van..He told me he stopped counting at £15.5k...!..I was shocked and this has cost nowhere near that..it also helps err indoors knows its my hobby so no issues in that department. :-)

What is the slot for in the drivers side of the lower dash rail?

That looks stunning, are you just having a chrome trim on the wheel arches?

Yes that is a mystery ..i think it may have been one of those insert a card type immobilizers ..unusual as it was under the dash pad ive  left it there but will be covered over..
