Ah, I see. The same but different...

Know what you mean about the tank - I've not fitted mine yet as I'm still faffing about with the electrics!

 

I thought I could feed the harness in with the tank in ...no chance so had to remove it which is never good when all is fitted nicely..eventually fed it through  part of the rear valance and also ran extra earths for the number plate light and fuel sender..I think it took 5 times to refit before I was happy...im not fitting the standard number plate set up as I think its to busy so making my own more streamline version..your loom is very nice by the way so I don't think you will have any trouble..

Small but steady progress...loom is all in and working and decided it was time to attach the bonnet...

One thing though - on mine I had to move the left hand bonnet rebound buffer forward into the slotted hole. With the rubber at the back the bonnet only sat on the right hand rubber so didn't sit square.

Crazy world we are in at the moment and hope everyone is doing well...doing I have been and today the bark of a fruity A series could be heard amongst the silence ..first time its ran since 2006 ...sounds very healthy and a great step towards the day it can see the road ..Cheers..

Thanks..got to the point where it was time to turn the key..had a small weep on one carb initially which meant removing the carbs but otherwise more or less started straight away..still plenty to do interior is the next biggy and mostly want to see it an normal ride height ..great to get to this stage though..cheers.

you going to use this on the road mate or will it be for shows etc, looks spot on
