Thanks ...yes the lenses are flatter as apposed to the dome shaped..prefer these as they don't protrude as much giving the front a tidier appearance ..

Hi Matt..thanks yes its coming on well...hopefully by the weekend should have run fuel and brake lines..rack and column fitted and can then move onto the subframes.. have you made anymore progress with yours ?

Sounds good progress, got to be the best bit. Fresh paint and shiny bits! I’d love to see it sometime.
Mine is still neglected and lost my job last week so other priorities for now but will be back on it asap

Yes i love this stage and the most important to do right as it makes all the difference to the finished result..thats a shame about the job situation hope you can get sorted soon..no problem on viewing it as I'm on it most evenings and weekends..

Thanks..exactly what i thought when i first started stripping it..i thought it was an odd on but seemed to neat..turns out its the dim dip resistor ..

Yes sure they are readily available on early austins or Austin healeys..

Bit more progress..had to temporally fit the fuel tank to best fit the fuel line ..need to take it back out to fit sender unit and run a few wires behind ..finished off with the steering column..moved on to the rear subframe which went well so i can now press on with some suspension..
