that's another nice piece of work there - hopefully they perform as well as they look
should get a decent amount of inlet noise from them !

..i suspect mine won't be back on the road first - the only bit I've got ready to refit is the shifter housing!
Well its a start..on the plus side though having the shell back will fire up the desire to get stuff done...bit sad but i do like to look at a freshly painted mini shell..

cracking choice on the wheels - that's going to look great. are you keeping the matt black centres or going for something a little different ?

Thanks..to be honest rose petals have always been my first choice..they don't come up very often 2nd hand and i didn't want to buy new so these are prefect ..the lacquer is lifting and its tarnished the alloy underneath..but condition wise they are excellent ideal as like you say I'm thinking of changing the centre colour..nothing loud just a tad different..wouldnt mind some dummy spinners but we'll see what i can cobble up..

Continued with the wheel refurb and after lots of the usual prep/flat stages and a session with the polishing wheel think they will look nice against the Grey paint...decided to keep the centres matt black as i liked the toned down finish on the spokes ...
