Before posting your Technical Questions for Mini Mokes & Mokes here, would it do better in the Problems, Questions and Technical ?

http://www.theminifo...-and-technical/

If your post can relate to the Mechanical parts of a Mini, you may get a bigger and broader response that could just be the answer you're looking for.

Items of difference between a Moke (including Mini Mokes) and Minis are;-

The obvious - Body and fittings.

Differential - while fundamentally the same as Mini ones, some of the issues are unique.

Rear Suspension including the subframe.

Wheel Bearings - while the same as Mini, they are loaded differently in a Moke and so issues that aren't normally seen on a Mini, arise.

Ball Joints - similar to the above.

Steering - similar to the above.

Gear Shifter (80 - 82 models) - while very similar to that of a Mini some of the issues that arise can be unique to these models.

Wipers - Motors, linkages and switches

Lamps - Parkers, side lights and indicators

Pedal Box

Fuel Tank

Wheels for the Big Wheel (13") Mokes

If your question is to do with any of the above, then post it here.

If it is not, then we encourage you to post it in the general Problems, Questions and Technical section above.
