Not the best pic, but the scariest one I've found. New cone dislodged

Ouch, one of my rears had come out, I could see the witness mark from the trumpet, caused by not being compressed at all at full extension I guess.

How's the ride height on the new rubber cones, assuming standard trumpets instead of hi-los?

I've not got that far yet! I've got the front right corner to build back up as I've painted and rebushed all the arms, new discs and pads etc.

Was tempted to change mine. Can some one have a look and see if it looks fine?

You'll probably find that you're very close to the bump stops - if not actually on them, I was with the doughnuts that flat.

i cant fit about 2 fingers between arch and the tyre.

The car is 1986 city e. I suspect the suspension has never been touched in 31 years.

Apart from cone should i change anything else while i'm there. I don't want hi lo.just keeping it standard.

That's what I've done, all standard and genuine parts, I'd fit new knuckle joints and shocks all round, new nuts bolts and washers where needed.

I've also fitted new arm bushes and ball joints, discs and pads too. It's essentially a new car underneath now for a few hundred pounds.
