If the seal in the master cylinder is u/s you wouldn't be able to pressurise/ operate the slave cylinder (no hydraulic pressure) so nothing would operate. Then when the clutch is released, because the system is not pressurised, there would be no hydraulic back pressure to encourage the clutch pedal to return to it's resting position. Have I got this right?!
