Love this car. I bet the previous owner is pulling his hair out looking for that last piece of the jigsaw

Roof finally arrived from Italy, couple of little bumps along the way but the body man can sort them, I’m happy with its condition for a 40 plus year old skin and also purchased a rear mount Lucas reverse lamp it’s never going to be a show car, it will be used and abused

Only just caught this project. What a great car! Hope you're keeping as much of the patina as possible - it's so honest and original. How will you tackle the roof if you want to keep the original paint? Will someone have to work their magic with an artificial patina on the roof once fitted?

Gorgeous project - isn't that the roof from the Starsky and Hutch tv series - I swear I can hear the 'thud' as Lt Hutchinson lands on it ;) (0.43 seconds in)

Good question, possibly matt or satin black on the roof once its on, he will possiply bond the skin on and plug weld afterwards depending on heat penetration and damage to the paint we'll decide then.....My main objective is suspension and brakes and then we'll decide on the body work, thanks for your reply
