Hi everyone,

Does someone have a set of brake booster brackets as shown in the photo that they'd be willing to post to South Africa?

Thanks,

Yeah, I've seen those. Hoping to find some original ones if possible.

They were only fitted to the early (10" wheel) 1275GT in the UK and are pretty hard to come by.

Yeah, probably why they aren't too common here either. Only the GTs and early GTSs had them fitted. Worth a try I suppose.

Yeah, they belong to a friend. Used them to make some CAD drawings in case I couldn't find an original set. Thanks, I'll check on eBay :)

I checked with a local laser cutting and sheet metal bending company, but the design that I took to them was too complex to bend. So I might need to simplify it.

The rear bracket would be simple in a laser cutter and then bend carefully in a vice.
The front bracket I think could be made from a length of box section, especially if you werent looking for it to be 100% the correct dims. To be honest that one looks too bent at the end - I dont think they should turn up quite so much, almost straight with loop underneath

The hardest bend for them to make I think would be the rounded end. I'll check with the companies in the new year once they re-open.

I don't think that would be too bad - heat the metal up to cherry red and wrap it round some bar.

Yeah, that would work. Plus it doesn't need to look perfect, just needs to work to hold the servo steadily.
