Looking really good! I love the fact that all the seats have the same trim design on them. What were the front seats from again?

Did you reject the idea of a rear heater as shown in the first picture from this last batch?

Ha ha, I stopped myself from attempting the same joke, but I applaud you for going for it

I'd just assumed it was an oil cooler!

nearly there,
its been an absolute pain to find gauges that have matching colors (and bezels).
anyway, the dashboard is in. everything works.
so all thats left now are the side mirrors and MOT.

This is absolutely stunning! Top job on the restoration!

i just have one job left really, fit the mirrors. which is a bit of an issue..
because i drilled the holes in the dores based on the holes of the plastic spacers that came with the mirrors.
but i later decided i want the chrome spaces, these for some reason have the holes farther apart. As is dont want to drill again i think i will just spray the plastic spacers in the same color as the car.
anyway here's some stuff you haven't seen.
steering wheel:
all clean again:
thanks!

I had the exact same issue, I thought I could get away with the plastic mirror spacers, but they just don't angle high enough so I couldn't adjust them properly. I ended up drilling holes in my new paint for the chrome ones.

what mirrors did you have? i think the angle works for me. i guess an extra hole hidden behind a mirror spaces isnt the end of the world either..
I guess i didnt need much convincing, thanks :)

I have these and even if the angles of the pictures are not the same you can clearly see how the chrome base makes the mirror much higher

With thanks to dasupersprint the mirrors are now on chrome spacers.
fixed some last issues, the glass in one of the gauges was rattling.
raised the front a bit.
fitted steering rack stops.
also fitted the sump guard.
oh and I had to take the cooling fan of because I put a spacer on the wrong side of the pulley... I tried something new, you can the fan off without taking the radiator out, although I wouldnt really recommend it
