The plated exhaust manifold looks so good!
Thanks! and thanks for the idea
The plan was to go for electrolytic polishing, but this exhaust is not made of just stainless steel. This was discovered during the process when the welds and the parts that connect to the cylinder head started to rust
So if anyone is looking for advice, buy the steel manifold and have it plated!

I had some parts that needed to be regalvanized, this is most of the parts before galvanizing;
and here we have a selection of the parts after galvanizing:
i also had some stuff powdercoated, but i couldnt be bothered to take pictures of that.
started reassembling my injection unit with shine pieces (it was getting dark so the picture is a bit crap)
but here is the finished product:
the bolts on the top are not staying, these are for a standard filter which wont go back on..

Another weekend spent on sanding, you have no idea how much i hate it
This time its the parts of the interior that will be visable, the boot and the engine bay.
Process is not great but we're getting there.

Hoi!
So it has been a while, more than a while to be honest..
I wanted to start with dropping in the engine, but somehow my disc brakes have dissappeared and installing the engine without the front brakelines and stuff seems pointless. So i started unboxing and installing whatever i come across (not literally ofcourse).
If you wonder why i didnt cover the tunnel, this will be insulated from underneath (with different material).
Anyway, pictures!
hope you guys like what i've done. comments are welcome!

Looking good!!
I'm just catching up on your older posts. Purely being nosey, but how did you get it back on its wheels from being rested on the roof racks? Did you tip it onto a few mattresses or something?

just 4 guys to tip it over and 2 tires to make sure nothing hits the floor. a mattress would probably be even better :)
