You literally seem to be doing the all the same rear panels as I will have to do very soon. Cheers for the pics etc.

right, after i've shimmed the balljoints, changed the steering rack gaiter and renewed the knuckle joint rubber, put some original wheel studs back on time to look at the passenger side
that is a gap between the A panel and the flitch panel
qucik tickle with the grinder and the A panel is off, it wasn't folded around the flitch panel and you can see the return for this was hammered flat, hence the gap
one thing i've noticed is there's no flat washers either side of the bush on the shocks, these are koni's, the metal sleeve must be too big as there isn't enough room for a washer either side, does anyone else have koni shocks and this problem?

so time to assess the bootlid, bonnet and doors, stripped all back
badge holes welded up along with a random hole and had to strengthen the hole for a boot mounted spotlight
bonnet
the doors already had door bottoms and skins fitted, i had already sourced a passenger door as i wasn't happy with the door now to look at the drivers
in step mr blue who i got from a mate, needs a bottom and skin
haven't done a door bottom before as i've always been able to source a good door only skinned external hinge doors before
mr yellow only requires a flange instead of the whole door bottom and i'll fit this tomorrow, paint the frames in epoxy primer before fitting the door skins

door frames painted in epoxy primer and a bit of tiger seal on the door frame before dropping onto the door skin which was fitted with a sound deadening pad
i was surprised about heritages primer/E coat flaking off on the flange, i don't remember this happening before when doing door skins

Love the rear end of this car! That spotlight on the boot lid is stylish!
