Have done a lot of work on Jaguars over the years restored a MK2 for a friend about
20yrs ago and after that a 1972 XJ6 series 111 4.2 manual, it was always my plan to
get an E type to restore.

Thanks its certainly been a labour of love, I did some bits of lead but finished off with body filler.
The last one I did (a 1966 S-Type 3.8 I used almost all lead and it was a major task, not sure if its really any benefit as the lead still pushes out when the rust is coming from behind.
I sold that one a few years back for 7K and saw it earlier this year at a dealers In Yorkshire for 27K, I think they were a bit hopeful!
