I'm in the process of replacing the complete floor pan, boot floor and rear wheel arches on a 66 mk1 hydro.
I decided to do the boot floor first and it's all cut out and test fitted. Am I better off doing the wheel arches now or leave until the main floor is done.? I'm using the old floor to make sure the new rear subframe is square.
I'm using m-machine complete mk1 floor, heritage wheel arches and m-machine modified heritage boot floor (back to mk1).
The car is fully braced and currenty on a spit.
I've currently pressed the pause button due to the slightly warm condition of my garage.
Sorry, meant to say thank you for all your photos and comments.

Beautiful job as usual on a lovely car. Have to say I don't like those number plates though - the raised white plastic letter/numbers on a black backplate type would finish it off better.

Hey, I would always replace the boot floor and then the arch tubs. They give a good reference point to the boot floor fitting and then the boot floor gives a good reference to the arch fitting.
Once the back end is complete, then move forward to the main floor.
Hope that helps

Thanks Ben. At the moment I'm waiting for some roof bars so I can flip it on it's roof as the boot floor is not sitting right as yet.
