Time to flat and polish
I started out by flatting back the paint with 2000 wet/dry with warm soapy water.
And then machine polish
And then finally the sill/arch trim
And then returned it's bonnet
Cheers

Thanks John.
It will be most likely leaving next week.
I am going to be replacing the rear knuckles and doughnuts on it first as well as a CV joint but I won't have the parts until later next week plus I have now started your GT

I used to live next door to the factory in Ware Herts! One summer they were crashing, moving drums about at 06:00am. I requested that they refrain from doing it at such an early hour and the bloke told me to F off!!

I have been hanging onto this Mini for a while until the weather improved enough for my customer to collect.
During that time, It has had new rear cones and knuckles fitted, a new heater tap because the existing one decided to implode and then an MOT.
Today, the weather was fine enough for collection so I can wrap this project up.
Here are a few photos taken this morning before collection.
Thanks for looking in.
Cheers

It was understandable really. The weather had been on and off and he lives on the mainland so it's more tricky making arrangements when the weather is uncertain.
I believe that he keeps it garaged and it doesn't go out unless the weather is dry and bright.
It is a lot of fun though even though it's loud. It's a verry charming car
Cheers
