I was wondering if anyone could help.
I have a Mini One 08 1.4, recently its had an engine head rebuild due to worn cylinders. Cylinder valves, seats, head gasket, oil & filter, spark plugs, o2 sensor pre cat and Vanos Solenoids have all been changed.

Now Im experiencing an erratic idle, RPMs raise and fall.
Also when the car has warmed up and is stationary the low oil pressure light illuminates and a tappety noise can be heard, once you pull away or increase revs the low oil pressure light goes out?

EML is not illuminated.
I tried changing the oil pressure sensor to no avail.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Ill keep an eye out for any responses, if youd like to know more just ask and Ill answer in as much detail as possible.
The head rebuild and various sensor changes have already set me back over £800 so Im hoping whatever is wrong wont cost much more.
