I've got a crank that I found in the loft but don't know much about it, is anyone able to identify it?
It has "76 3" stamped on it
thanks

Don't know. you will have to measure the rod size and throw to work it out. It's been run but not much, it looks like the web at the clutch end was fouling the case somewhere? perhaps that's why it got taken out and wrapped!

Well the standard 998 engine has a 3.0" or 76.2mm stroke, so I'm guessing a 998 crank.

Step on the rail looks like a 1275 though.
Would make 1195 cc. Intresting
The mains also look like 2".
Sub 1200 cc class ?

looks like a short stroke bilet 1275 crank,
73.5mm bore and 76.3mm stroke will give 1295cc
