Call me a cynic, but something still doesn't sit comfortably with me and these items. The struggle on lowered cars as it is will always be the angle of the ball joints, wouldn't this merely exacerbate it?

it will fix the lower ball joint angles. but i would not touch those i would get the non ball joint type so you can use quality ball joints.

You do need to be very careful using them - even on a track car.

Nick mentioned a similar version a while back and at first, I thought they may have been a possible solution but, as you've pointed out Steve, the swivel angles of the joints will be exceeded resulting in busted ball joints.

Do people use mini sport alot?? Everything I search for parts they seem to have them but are way cheaper than any other mini site I come across? Any reason for this or am I being slightly blonde?

Depends on entirely what you're looking for. They do supply cheaper, and sometimes inferior, items. I've fallen out with them due to their lack-lustre attitude towards after sales care and their ability to sell sand to Arabs.

I stopped dealing with them after a couple of quality issues with some very expensive parts.

I now use Mini Spares for everything. Can't beat their service and customer care. I don't care about a bit of price difference because as someone said a long time ago: "Service and quality are remembered long after price is forgotten".

Buy cheap, buy twice!

Best roll centre adjusters are from people who make them for the miglia racers, I got mine from endalf owens and they were spot on, and far better than those look

Dont mean to take over this thread but i have a question.... I have been advised to use these on my car before. The Owens ones look excellent. What is the best way to sort the angle of the top ball joints? How do the racers do it? My car isn't stupidly low but don't want to risk the top joint snapping out.

I gave them a few goes over a few years. Suffice to say they are a rubbish supplier to the point where in my mind, they don't exist.

Fair do's moke. Ive not had a bad experience with them yet. Waitec 2 weeks for a carb service kit but they have recently updated thier website so you know if and how long your waiting on a part. Every9g I've bought off them has been of good standard and, like you say, twice as cheap.
They're also the closest place to where I live with a rolling road.

I think it's worse for us off-landers. No one here that I know of has had a good experience and reading the forums and facebook, few in the UK have success.

Glad all has gone well for you and your dealings.

I used them once, they took my money for something that wasn't in stock and then told me Id have to wait 2 months for it to 'maybe' come back into stock.... They returned my money... eventually....
