Hi..Peeps i collected the subframes from the powder coaters today they are fantastic like new

Hi..Peeps made a start on repairing the door frames cutting and fettering metal and spot weld to frame 

then seam sealed

next door

also painted the calipers

Hi..Peeps sorry for the lack of updates but back at work for the last 5 weeks....so I managed to find a local Upholster to have a go at repairing my ERA drivers seat and what a fantastic job hes done

this is what it looked like

I managed to secure a bag of old era cloth

and this is after

Yep, their mounting is unique too as the ERA has a second cross bar.

I read somewhere the Era had modified Metro seats that were made smaller and thinner to fit in a Mini.

That may also be the reason for the second cross bar.

yes these are metro seats modded to fit the ERA and a 2nd cross member fitted

sorry not updated for a while but been back at wotk and catching up on jobs that did not get done during Covid lockdown but managed to errect a new garage over the last few months

 

even though finished I had to start filling it dur to no other place to put it

 

 

 

Finally made up the doors and its water tight

 

all needs doing now is to empty it again and lay a concrete floor ready for the ERA build

Hi..Peeps sorry for the lack of updates but done some more on my Garage

I emptied it and started to level old yard floor using pickaxe and shovel and sieve the ground

good evening peeps I have finally got my Garage floor screeded its been 2 months in the waiting as everyone is very busy but got it done yesteerday I have to wait 1 week for it to fully harden before I put the ERA in can not wait

also sent my seats to Optimise Aotomotive for a fresk leather recover

After 3 and a half years since I bought My ERA it has sat out side in all weathers its has finally got a proper home with a roof over her head with the help of the whole family thanks all

even in snow which is rare here lol

uncovered been at least 6 months under a tarp

and finally in my new garage ready to work on in earnest

good evening peeps now that the ERA shell is in my new garage I been spending a few hours in the evenings which is great under cover lol so I popped the front body kit on and screwed it in place as since its been of the car and sat sround it got twisted so hopefully it might straighten up lol

and started to rub down the shell
