hi  peeps not to much to report on today as I've been perplexed about the pin holes on the boot wheel well and decided to use 1mm aluminum and stick it down with Sicaflex its not for the purists but Im happy with the result I will fill and make good the edges

hi.. peeps some more done today I filled and rubbed down etch primed ally and primed and applied a protective coat of black

 

applied some seam seal to back edge

Hi..Peeps today effort I not a happy Chappy I ordered bottom door repairs from Minispares great service under these strange conditions any way what a load of rubbish these Magnum panels are Why Oh Why can't they make them with the Part that rusts the flange that the door skin attaches to I'm going to Bin these an they are useless 

this is the Part of all door that go rusty not the Inside LOL

Those magnum panels are bad.

I tend to fabricate new bottoms as they are straightforward enough and you can make just what you need.

Hi..Peeps next update I removed front and rear subframes

then I tipped the shell on its side to work on the underside first I cleaned off all the wax protection

then I washed the underside with petrol

then gave it a good sanding and etch primed underside

next job is seam seal underside

well new rear valance, boot floor repair, boot hinge repair, small repair left wheel well/arch wheel well was riddled with small holes but not bad

todays effort apply seam seal and prime 

tomorrow is Raptor day

Happy VE day peeps todays effort was to apply Raptor

as you can see I had run out of Raptor but I still need to tip it onto the other side to clean both wheel arches and get some more Raptor

good evening peeps yesterday I Tipped the shell onto the other side to gain access to the parts not able to reach and rubbed it down and washed and etch primed and then applied seam seal and reprimed then I applied Raptor and I'm very please with the Product and the finish as never used this before 

next step is to refit fuel pipes and brake pipe and steering rack

good evening peeps today's efforts first I rubbed down the black protection and applied body colour to engine bay then 2 coats lacquer

 

then I tackled the steering rack I cleaned it and painted it stripped it doan and regreased it and fitted new gaiters and rod ends

then I refitted the fuel pipes and brake pipe

Hi..Peeps over the last few days I was bust cleaning down suspension parts ect etch priming them and painting them whilst subframes are being powder coated

put shell back on axel stands

removed bitumen ******* and rubbed down and etch primed cockpit and footwells

have fitted front scuttle, front panel, boot floor repair, boot hinge repair, valance, I know its good compared to some projects but still a lot of work done
