what a treat! looks like its survived pretty well! cant believe the state of that "factory" turbo box and wheel arch cuts though.

Its so obvious that they bodged them to make a few extra quid!

I believe eras where built using a complete mini city as a base, austin rover would supply era witha complete car which they would modify and send all the original parts back, thats why you can see where the original wheelarchs had been fitted the removed to fit the era bodykit.

Despite all the modifications made to these inc shortening the base of the rear seat from your pictures they do appear to be a bit of a bodge up.

sorry being so slow with this resto but work is very busy....

I cut off the front panel...

I had a go at cleaning the bulkhead with a wire brush on a grinder......

and the worst job so far removing the bonnet sound deadening this took ages.....

Garret T3 as standatd on ERA turbo the new 1 is from a ford gt1752
