I have replaced the front scuttle, front panel, boot floor repair and new valance and boot hinge repair

Good evening peeps 8hours spent over the last few evenings on scraping and sanding back the multiple repairs mostley to drivers side front spoiler also passenger side not as bad with 40grit by hand

This happends to me too.. my wife has learnt to understand that... eventually...

I told here these rusty shape need to tick together.. safety in numbers and all that...

no its been there since last June covered up this a terp needs new engine which I am Building

 

a bit more work on some parts over the weekend rubbed down boot lid and primed it

removed rust from bottom edge and etched primed

then primed

then applied seam seal anlng boot seam

then I rubbed down the front and etch primed and primed

Good evening peeps so over the last few evenings trying to get gaps for grille and bonnet lip to align I'm happyish

also aligned aux water rad drilled fixing hole

also drilled holes for spot lamp wire's and grille fixing prior to painting

I dumped the aux water rad and went to alloy rad. Repositioned the oil cooler and had a charge cooler front mounted rad .

Had no problems with overheating … it ran spot on in middle of gauge even with crazy boost ( I had over heating prior to ditching the aux rad and factory main rad)

Good afternoon peeps some more done on shell today a quick wipe down with panel wipe of wings, windscreen pan, front panel and hinge panel, and a quick scotch cloth rubdown and rewipe and apply some etch in places and primer just to protect for now.

Good afternoon peeps today I tackled the boot after it filling with 2" of water last October's storm when it took the tarp off the rear of the shell lol

so I rubbed it back and reprimed it

and applied base coat

and lacquered it

Good evening peeps a few more hours today masked off and etch primed bare metal and primed 1st coat all this done with rattle cans just the roof to sand back and sort out door steps then I can use my Uncle's compressor and borrow a good spray gun to prime it properly lol

cut out door step amd cleaned out rust and primed it

cut new panel to size

drilled plug weld holes and welded it in place

Good afternoon peeps had a day for the Queen today so I tackled the roof panel not an easy panel to rub down especially with a hole in it so etch primed gutter

and then primed

rubbed back and another prime

now I just need to borrow my Uncle's big compressor and borrow a spray gun and apply a few coats 2k primer

A huge thank you to MCJs Club President for putting my door skins on now a step closer to having a full shell ready for base and top coat

then I sanded the door skins and applied etch primer just need to seam seal edges
