the starter and the alternator is wired up, the under hood fuse box is wired up, the cruise control box is mounted and wired and throttle cable is hooked up
i got a cannon plug for the head light wiring harness stuff
and im getting ready to make the lower radiator mounts
and i ordered a longer throttle cable, stock cable was good for lhd, no good for rhd

If the new stock cable is still not right, you can get an universal one for a motorbike and cut it down, you can then solder on the correct ends supplied with the kit.
Nice work by the way.

i'll look into it, the longer cable should be in Friday, so i'll see if I wasted my money or not

throttle cable by joaquinn lopez, on Flickr
worked on wiring today and I got my throttle cable in the mail
the front clip wiring is done
I used 18 pins out of a 20 pin cannon plug
my throttle cable is from a gen 1 Honda odyssey van(95-98) f22 motor
I guess the cable bracket is in different spots on the intake manifold
because I need to ext mine out about 2.5-3 inches....no biggie
not bad overall, I paid 20 USD for the cable from rockauto
and from what I have seen online, they want 50 USD for rhd throttle cables
the stock lhd cable was 38 inches and way to short to be used in a rhd set up
and this odyssey cable is 53 inches, just right length for what I need
probably take me more time to paint the bracket then cut and weld it up
and now I don't have to use a custom cable

i had to mod one corner of my fuel tank, but it fits good now
i have three lines ran from the tank to the firewall area of the car now
i plan on running the stock purge canister for emission stuff
and then the send and return lines for fuel
i still need to wire up the fuel pump and fuel level gauage, i plan to do this after lunch

fuel lines are installed and I even ran a line from the tank to the purge canister and lines from the intake manifold to the canister
I want the drivetrain to run like it did when it was in the del slow chassis
so I'm installing everything from the donor car on over
I still need to make a battery mount but I had it hooked up and tried to turn it over but the battery was dead,
so I slow charged it over night

the automatic drivetrain started today,
i have a fuel leak in my tank, so i have to drain the fuel and purge it and re-weld the leak
but the motor has a vaccum leak
and it was idling a bit high but after letting it run for a few mins, the idle started to come down and go to a normal idle speed
so im not sure if its kind of doing a relearn or whatever because it hasn't ran in a long time and the computer hasn't had power in a long time
trying to upload a video right now
so when the internet stops being slow i guess it will work
