Has any USED one of those kits from Halfords for repairing broken heater tracks? Or are the pens a better option?

As the heated rear screen in the mini has never worked (both vertical strips either end are missing) and my spare also has 3 (out of 4) broken tracks.

Used one of those track repair kits for 3 small breaks in the circuit & it was still working perfectly years later (wasn't the Halfords/Granville cheapy version).

These people seem to have consistently good reviews http://www.frostfighter.com/index.htm

I have used the above kit, and it worked brilliantly.  Fixed about 7 breaks ranging from a couple millimeters to a centimeter.  Highly recommended.

I'd go halves with you on the kit if you like? I need to do both connectors. I just need the glue

I think i might need more than one kit though, unless the conductive paint is available separately? As 2 kits at Halfords prices are just shy of £30. As the tracks are complete across the screen, its just both ends were it has worn away.

And my replacement screen also has a broken track. But differs from the original, in that it only has 4 horizontal tracks and not five like my original.
