Good afternoon,

It is not something that we recommend, due to the construction of the easy clutch access console.

With the smaller side on the driver side any clocks & accessories that are introduced into the lower face (below the heater unit), would eliminate the advantages of choosing the easy clutch access design:

1) The clocks & accessories would be visible from the drivers side (when looking into the car).
2) The clocks & accessories would also potentially get in the way of your foot, within the extra area created by the easy clutch access design console.

As mentioned above, this would eliminate the advantages of the easy clutch access design centre console. And as a result, if you would like to introduce clocks or accessories into a centre console we recommend going for the original design - as you can add items to the lower face, without them effecting the usability of the console.

I prefer to not have a console, to me its part of what makes being in a mini a bit different to modern cars.
