Just had fantastic service from Somerfords.

 

It was one of my normal mini phone calls where I have no real clue about the parts I need.

 

So, about 11am yesterday I called up and asked the question "What should be on the slam panel of a classic mini cooper sport?"

 

9:22am today all the parts have been delivered by the postman and many are genuine rover.

Friendly staff too. Just a shame some of the stuff i've bought as 'NOS' was in fact rusty crap that I had to have blasted and resprayed to be presentable on a car.

I took my original boot lock off my 2000 cooper sport as it looked like it was 17 years old. So I bought a NOS lock from another mini supplier. The part arrived and was stamped 1979 and looked 38 years old :)
