where does the battery go? Is it infront of the load panel, or right by the drivers seat?

 

I cant work it out, there is a space it could go, but no mountings, and also the battery is too big to go threw the hole, but if you put it by the drivers seat, it seems a bit dangerous.

usually behind drivers seat in a tray - always seemed a bit daft if driver was a smoker & battery was a bit gassy

 

usually a good rust spot as acid fumes used to rot the floor on some vans & pickups

 

(not my mini van by the way)

 

spare tyre the other side

 

some vans had the spare wheel well in the rear floor along with the battery (different floor pan - probably like some estates)

right ok, i can get it mounted then, maybe it should be a slightly smaller battery than the saloon ones as its right by the seat!

thanks, i had a look about on ebay, and there is some batteries that are narrower but taller, ill measure up and see if i can get one of those in, the standard type is just too big.
