it depends on why you are doing it.

i would remove as little as you can so you can fit parts with reference parts. if there is nothing there it can be a right pain.

Are you changing everything A panels wings and front panel??

If you are changing everything then cut behind the seam on the A panel, then drill out all of the spot welds as already mentioned. Keep it neat is the way forward.

And if you are cutting it off to fit a flip front, please think again. Substantial loss of both value and safety, and has been pointed out recently, degraded handling.

If it is for a repair or restoration, or conversion to a roundnose, I wish you well in your endeavours. There will be plenty of help here as and when needed. But you might get quicker replies in the bodywork thread rather than general technical.

Have fun!

Right depending on whether you are keeping the A panel so if you are not then cut here

If you are keeping the A panel then cut here

Ok now for the rest of the front, so for removing the wing on both sides cut here, as its difficult to remove the spot welds

Now where i am pointing there will be a series of spot welds, drill these out

This are maybe spot welded or seam welded

Now behind where i am pointing is a lower flange, this should be attached to the scuttle flange so carefully cut where i am pointing to enable the wing to be removed/

Right that should be it. There will be a lot of spot welds, so be methodical and drill them all out. Where you can cut then cut otherwise its drilling time
