Great article to read Not a bad investment for £35k.
Its called the Madgwick after the famous corner at Goodwood, where its builders engines have claimed many successes.
This car, created from a standard 1965 saloon, isnt radically modified past Cooper S spec, but drive it and you find that its more than the sum of its parts, thanks to all the subtle tweaks that Swiftune has learnt over five decades

Interesting, so after reading the review, to me it looks like you are basically paying £15K to £25K for an engine attached to a decently restored shell?

Don't forget the longer lower arms to give camber. Doesn't state adjustable however does it?
You paying for the name at the end of the day.
Does sound like a nice engine spec to any engine builders who can't quite scrape together 35k for the car to take the engine out :)

The recent costs on here for a complete professional restoration was advised about £20k. Plus an actual MK1 mini (£5k?), Plus a sweet 1380 swiftune motor and suspension setup and profit etc. Asking price doesn't sound massively unreasonable.
