fantastic to hear you're going to put the correct decals back on it. There are so many special editions that sadly lose their identity via restoration.

Will be nice to see a special edition that has been returned to an original-ish condition. I old enough to remember the magazine advertising for that model, and the Red Hot/Jet Black when I was a kid.

I am renowned for never adding the finishing touches to my cars but the decals for my RacingGreen were a reasonable £30 so I fitted them and begrudgingly had to admit it made the job look finished.Good work.Steve..

so had to do a blow in down the side of the front post as i had missed it because i could not reach so well with the size of the garage. Also repainted the side, used some anti silicone additive, and the paint just seemed to flow better too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now i was still really interested in where ive fitted the roof and joined, but it looks good

 

 

 

 

this side seems to be really good, seemt o be learning painting quite quick really.

 

Going to do the roof next  , but im going to make a plastic booth type cover in the garage to try to get the dust down more.

so i made a plastic sheet roof for the garage, and that made a massive difference to the amount of dirt in the paint. I did manage to get a mosquito in the paint though!! I got 2 runs , one about the o/s above the screen area, and one down the n/s of the rear roof. I am sure they will polish out, but now the car is totally white.

 

will push it outside soon and take more pics.

Great work! I can see the images but only if i open them in a new tab. Nice to see her all in colour! I can't wait to see the Decals fitted

Yeah they open in new tab fine, strange..

 

Edit sorry was just trying something there, the only thing I can see is its not HTTPS

 

Images open fine in Microsoft Edge, but not Chrome, but edge marks theminiforum as HTTP not secure

ive opened them on my computer on a few browsers, all seems ok. Not sure what has changed? Only thing i can think of is the forum is on the new server but i dont know how that could have changed anything.
