Yeah Flickr isn't the easiest to use on mobile. The app doesn't let you copy the BB Code so you have to view it in the browser and request the desktop site. Once on the desktop view you click the share button and then copy and paste the BB Code. I think your photos have to be public for them to work as well.

Brilliant. Thanks for that... But even though I can see the code it's impossible to select all of the code. If I select it, the "select all" option doesn't appear and you can manually drag the blue highlighter to the end. Think I'll try something else

Yeah it's not the best to use on mobile, I think imgur is what most people are using now although not sure how it works on mobile

I'm trying it now and it also seems impossible to find the IMG code like you could with photobucket. You can copy a link to an image/album I can't see how to pull up the code on a mobile.

Imgbox seems to be the easiest option for uploading image codes of mobile devices

I've signed up to imgur too but I don't have a link list on the right of my picture. Just a share logo. Do you need to be on a computer for the list options?

iphone top left a up arrow out of a rectangle press then copy link.
What about Android?

Why can we not simply 'copy' a photo from our own computers and then 'paste' it into the forum reply?

The forum does have the ability to attach a photo to the topic. You need to use the full reply mode and attach files that way under the text box where you write.

However, there are restrictions on this because it eats up forum resources and makes the forum more expensive to run.

Is there a way of bulk downloading images from Photobucket? I can only manage to do it one at a time and I've got hundreds on there. I'd like to transfer them all to Imgur - or onto a storage device to upload later.

You can download whole albums at once, go into the album and its down on the right hand side, takes a while though ;)

Found it thanks. Looks like it will dump the lot onto my PC, I was hoping to put it onto a USB stick but better than loosing it all.

Cheers

If you are using Flickr on a phone or tablet there is a good app to use for uploading and getting the img code links. Try:

http://ipont.ca/ip/flickstackr/

I have the original version "FlickrStackr" which is by the same people.

Great info thanks but I only use a PC for uploading and downloading, someone will find it very useful though

Cheers
