Good Evening All,

Does anyone know what my local Mini Club would be? I live in South Oxfordshire - so would assume Abingdon Mini Owners Club, but it seems rather inactive (looking at their website!)

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dec

Could be a tad far - the trout in is 50 minutes away (and that's in a normal car!!!) Although it could be the closest active club...

Is there anything more local?

Thanks,

Hiya, the mini invaders are your what your after!
There is a meet up every 2nd Thursday of the month at the h café at berinsfield from about 5pm onwards. Ray runs the meet up. The club was created by Tony who is from Witney.
They do most of the local shows as a group and some of the national mini shows also. They also do there own cruises and trips from time to time.
There a friendly bunch, have a look at there Facebook page.
Hopefully see you soon g

Abingdon mini owners are still active but yes the website is hardly used.

As above the H cafe is a good little event and Tanya (who is on here) often goes and is also a member of Abingdon mini owners so might be worth saying hi

Hi Guys! Perfect, exactly what I needed to know - only 12 minutes from my house!!

I'll try and get Bob (the mini) ready and pop on by!

Thanks again,

Dec

Our club is very friendly, great technical knowledge (helped me a lot), active website & a pretty full calendar of events to attend.

Been in many different car clubs over the years and can honestly say ours is the best club I've been in. Nobody is "up there selves", unlike most clubs I've been involved with, even though my Mini is a bit rough and ready, nobody runs it down.

Just sent a note to the MiniFixers - as I am also near Abingdon and was looking for a club to join :)
