Hi all, i recently purchased an R52 convertible. Well last week.

The good lady doesn't like the wheels.

I have found a set from a 2008 car, basically will they fit? Probably a stupid noob question doh

I will be going from a 205/ 17s run flats to 195/ 16s non run flats.

Yes they will fit but you must use your original wheel bolts. The later Mk2 R56 bolts are 14mm whereas the Mk1 R50, R52 & R53 used 12mm bolts but the hole size in the wheels can fit either size bolt. The latest Mk3 F56 MINI's are 5 stud so won't fit earlier MINI's.

PS. This is a classic Mini forum, although some members like me have classic Minis and New BMW MINI you will get more responses on Total MINI or MINI2:-
