Is the clevis pin supposed to be dropped through from the top with the split pin and washer on bottom (as per Minispares parts drawing)
Or pushed through from the bottom with the split pin and washer on top???
Also the top hat bush that goes on the front trunnion, I've come to the conclusion it has to be fitted with the larger diameter end facing outwards? I.E. pressed up against the end with the 2 little holes on it.
Any help would be great. Thanks 👍🏻

The Rover manual shows the trunnion top hat bush with the narrow end pointing outwards and this was how mine was when I stripped it down
The rear brake cable quadrant spit pin and washer were on the top of the radius arm as per the photos above

Yep, insert from the underside and save yourself some grief in the future.

Yep, an R clip work well and that's what I did with mine. Despite a thorough greasing when assembled one quadrant locked up a while ago. Took 10 minutes to remove and re-grease.

Longer Arc towards the Drum.
When fitted the other - incorrect - way, the arc will foul on the casting for the knuckle joint.

As pointed out by Moke Spider, if you put the quadrants on the wrong way the rear brakes give really weak handbrake = MOT fail.
I had this problem a couple of years back, took me a while to work out what was wrong...
