Hi, new on here as I've just bought a second hand Mini Cooper D 57 reg... in love already!
Just found out that this model has a timing belt rather than a chain (Peugeot W16 engine?), so trying to find out how often it needs changing, the previous owner didn't even know it was a belt! So worried that it's going to need changing soon otherwise could be having problems. It's got around 85k miles on the clock, is in really good condition for age.
Thanks!
Rose

Sorry Rose we are a classic Mini forum, we are not set up for the BMW product.

At 10 years old nearly and 85k, id be changing it asap.
As above, you may find the actual interval service info on one of the suggested sites.
