Can anyone please confirm / show picture of pipe route for overflow on a 1989 Mini 1000cc ?

 

I bought it in boxes and just putting final bits together, does it route between the bodyshell and the front subframe - or inside (engine side) of front subframe. Any pictures of mountings really appreciated - thanks.

The standard pipe mounts to the wok mounting bolts. On my cars I used hose routed along the servo vacuum pipe then following the wiring loom and down to the corner of the front subframe(exits at the inner wing/valence area)

normally just away from the exhaust.

 

there have been a few version on the A series engine some to the rear and other to the front.

 

Pics of what you actually have to hand would be a better option.

Looks like one that goes down the back of the engine.

Fit the rubber hose and it will hang in the right place.

If you are replacing the rubber as well place the clean end in the area of the vent connection and the dirty bit down the back if the engine and it will be fairly obvious where the clip attaches and then you will know how much rubber to use.

So not between subframe and body - just down back of engine in the bay?? Thanks
