I'm think I valeted these 2 when they were swapped back in to VOSS MOTORS Liverpool,back in the 70s. 
Over 50/60 Mini Pandas and 10/15 Cooper Ss. were supplied brand new by VM. for Liverpool/Bootle Police.
Under the back seats would offer up police uniform buttons/speeding ticket books and the occasional bloody snot rag 
The guys that mostly drove the "S" were Motorcycle Police on the night shift....and they were HARD BUGGERS who took no stick from the bad boys.
Myself and another valetar enquired about buying one each of used and abused Ss off VOSS at a discount (because WE WORKED THERE)if my memory serves me right they(VOSS) wanted £200 per car,which we both declined as a "RIP OFF".Well it was about a couple of months wages back then...........how does the song go...You take the high road and.....
