Been through this with mine recently, I had to do all of the following:

  • New windscreen seal, use arbomast sealant, no matter what they say it won't seal without it
  • Plastic behind the door cards
  • I had to repair a hole where the brake pedal goes through the bulkhead
  • New door seals
  • New check strap seals

Once you have done all of this you will then wonder why the floor is still wet! You will then find that your heater matrix is leaking and will have to replace this as well!

Best way to find the leaks is to sit inside with someone spraying a hose onto the car, I stripped the carpets out and covered the floor and bulkead in talcum powder, this way you can see where the water has run as it disturbs the powder.

The favourite mystery one is blocked drain holes in the bottom of the door then once the door is full it comes in from behind the interior door trim panel (door card), this is made even worse by people removing the plastic weather sheet.

I had the same problem
Just found out where it's leaking from on my car
And it's from the chrome window seal / moulding, water is going from there to inside the door then coming out from the interior door panels and into the interior floors

Yep
