How far is the fog light from the brake light? you may need to swap it out for another reversing light.

just checking the regs,

I'd say about 100mm. I do have a spare reverse lense that came with the light set if push comes to shove

(d) Minimum separation distance between a rear fog lamp and a stop lamp–

(i)In the case of a rear fog lamp which does not share a common lamp body with a stop lamp:

A distance of 100 mm between the light-emitting surfaces of the lamps when viewed in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle

(ii)In the case of a rear fog lamp which shares a common lamp body with a stop lamp:

100 mm

Umm. Just measured it and it 70mm between the lenses. I'll just have to see what happens on the day. If its an issue i'll do temp fix (did I say temporary? I mean permanent fix). They are pretty fexible at my mot garage. I have already pre cleared my 'competition only' tyres with them. I'll only be out on sunny days anyway.

i would plan to have two rev lights and wire in a new FOG as it is not just an MOT issue but a road worthyness one.

Ordered the tyre for the spare wheel and it arrived today. Ordered it from demon tweeks on monday, delivered to argos which is in my local Sainsburys and ready to pick up today. Got a few funny looks walking back past the tills.

Got it put straight on the wheel. Really pleased with how it looks. Similar to my other tyres but smaller. As I see it its more of a space saver get me home type of spare.
I mounted a big one on the back but it was just too big.

Turned my attention to the seats and the fact they are way too high. To a point where I can not get my legs under the steering wheel. Separated them from their subframe and then I had a urika moment

Just turn the subframe upside down.

Instantly lost 55mm Off the height. Sometimes it's just the simplest solutions are best. Still need to extend the steering wheel up a bit with a quick release.

Found this on the sub frame which is quite cool. A date marking the IVA test. Will leave that on.

Some stencils arrived today so I thought I'd have a little go. I must have been a bit drunk. At least I can give it a slight sand and try again. Will have to put a gap between the two words. Reads a bit weird at the moment.
