Does anyone know if a standard mini exhuast fits an amc cub? Prefer to get an RC40.

yep just measured it 2 inches longer. but at least the rear subframe compared with the chassis at the back are similar dimensions. Looks like mini spares do a 3 inch longer pipe for the RC40 for estates that can be cut down to size. phewwww.

Will be saving the bar to weld behind the seats to mount the harness mounts.

I'm leaning towards C especially as I'm going to have a 4 point harness. Military seats do seem to be function over comfort and I won't be traveling big distances in it. But i do like the holes on the others, good for draining water

they may be to high for 4 point harness unless they make them for harnesses i would be wary as there are many seats being used with harnesses that are nor designed to be used with them and the seat back is most likely to fail.

Please check.

How about if I weld the tube I cut off today high up on the front part of the roll bar ( about shoulder height) and have the harnesses running over it and bolt them to the floor

talk to the seat makers. harness rear straps should be horizontal or up to 45 degrees. BUT the seats need to be designed to work with them. there are some seats out there that seam to have the suitable cut outs for rear harness straps but are not designed for them and will just collapse as they are designed to have the body take the belt load.

this is just something to be aware of.

My mate cubbacub came round today to get some welding done for the MOT. Took the opportunity to do a comparison piccy.

Mine is definitely going to look like a moke on steroids.

Nothing a bit of P38 can't sort. Good job it's ending up as a rat look!

And I've sprayed the rear. Only the side sections left to spray

Had to clump the lights together like this cause there is 40mm box section going round the edges behind the panels.

How far is the fog light from the brake light? you may need to swap it out for another reversing light.

just checking the regs,

just checking the regs,

I'd say about 100mm. I do have a spare reverse lense that came with the light set if push comes to shove
