Oh well, I can see all of these kits being hard mounted. Looks like the holes on the carb have been milled out a bit, to either take the flange welded to the charger or to take bigger bolts. Do you think I should get those gaskets with the o ring built in then?

Maybe ask about this with the guy who does the Superchargers?

A little update on the hard mounted Weber - Spoke to Stuart Gurr the other week and O rings or misab's are no good for this set up. Fuel pools in the recess. So not an option for me. Anyone want to buy a pair of misab plates and thackery washers

When I took mine to get tuned (also a VMAX kit) they commented on it not being rubber mounted, but said they'd had a good look and it wasn't causing any issues.

Following the show last week and now know the sketch. I have decided to build a loud stereo that I'm going to disguise as an ammo box (not the the stereo typical type - pardon the pun), but based on a Russian military wooden ammo box.

Also I have just taken delivery of a Chinese 300db 12v horn. Its massive! As a comparison, here it is next to a suspension cone rubber.

I tested it on my little 12v battery for a million second and my ears were ringing for 10 mins.

It's a bit bigger than the normal ammo box speakers. Might have to label it up as a rocket launcher or something.

It's not mega loud, but load enough for me.
All together its cost £150 to make and its bluetooth, USB or memory card input. Well pleased
