I know the sort of thing you are wanting and why, but (at least here) there's been a move away from steel for these to HDPE over the last 5 or so years.

While a cover like what you are looking for would look more 'manufactured', what about some steel tube and make some clips yourself, like a double sided P clip that could go over 2 pipes ?

cant work out the why but also think i get the why. to cover the hydro hoses.

but inside the car not needed P clips will do. under the car i would be making protected channels with some box section either side. so they don't get crushed. if it ever goes off road.

It's a rudimentary protection really. While the likelihood of any serious offl roading is unlikely. Just want some sort of protection.

Spider - I had bought some 25mm galvanised conduit pipe with saddle clips but the fittings at the end of the hose wont squeeze through.

Nick- I was thinking of drilling some holes through the box section and weld a sheath in. This would sit/tuck the pipe up and out of the way in the ladder frame, but I just want to get it finished to be honest. Could alter on the future.

What, no serious off roading !!   We'll soon sort that !!!

OK, gotya.

Another thought is some 'Top Hat' , it is square in section though, generally, it is also thin in gauge. Might get lucky.

Have you tried a sheet metal shop, one with a CNC bender?

I recently went that way and was very impressed with the product and was pleasantly surprised that I received the parts in 1/4 of the time and under 1/2 the price of the shop I had been using for years. I knew about these guys for years, but never felt I had enough to interest them. When I did contact them, they said they would do one offs.

Another reason I want a metal galvanised channel is that I would want to curve the ends up abit so nothing is snaggable at the ends. If that makes sense

Got the controller wiring at the compressor end, hydraulic rams in, hoses and guards to do. It's just finding the time at the moment.

Hi mate,

I’ve noticed that you’ve got just two switches “front” and “back”. In all honesty you’d be better off having two fronts and two backs.. you can fit a switch link to control both rams at the same time if you wish but you’d still have the individual control for bleeding the system and levelling control issues etc.

Rayvern states these are self bleeding but I found that the only way to fully bleed these was to pre fill the ram and pipe off the car and then fit it to the car and pump
